Show Solidarity: Wear Your Blue!
As the GRCC APSS Negotiating Committee prepares to head to the bargaining table on March 17, it’s time to make our collective voice visible.
Union members will be distributing solidarity buttons and blue kerchiefs to all APSS (including non-union members). We encourage everyone to wear these items proudly to demonstrate our unity and strength as we begin contract negotiations.
You don’t need to wait for the 17th, please start now! We encourage you to wear your gear as soon as it is delivered. A visible show of support in our offices and hallways sends a message that we are united, we are strong, and we stand firmly behind our negotiating team.
If you have not received your button or kerchief by Monday, March 16, please reach out to Ann Momany to ensure you’re ready to represent.

We are happy to introduce Anne Momany as our newest board member! She works for College Advancement and the GRCC Foundation in the beautiful Custer House (read more about Dave Custer here). She is currently also serving on the Negotiating Committee.

The 2025 Holiday Party:
As usual the party was decorated beautifully and it went by super fast! We had 47 APSS members/retirees attend the casino themed event. Thank you to the Sunshine Committee for spending so much of their time making sure our members felt appreciated. This year we had David Lovell (Associate Director of Institutional Research) join the fun as our Black Jack dealer. There were various gift cards and gift baskets to choose from and fifteen large gifts like hotel stays, $100-$150 gift cards, a printer, a free day off work, free employee parking for a year, car washes, multi-guest golf passes, free subs for a year, and a 10-guest tasting tour at Founders.
The 2025 Summer Party:
Thank you to the Sunshine Committee for organizing this family friendly event! We had about 75 attendees attend this fun summer event at Johnson Park. There was a taco truck and lots of fun events for the kids (face painting, pinata, duck pond, and more)! See more photos here!
